In general, my research interests are concerned with the impact of technology
on organizations and society in general. Some of these areas include:
- Information Policy - The rapid adaptation of technology in
recent years has significantly intensified the need for clear and effective
organizational and public information policy. What are the key issues
facing the adaptation of technology and and how do shape them into effective
information policy?
- Knowledge Management - We are definitely living in the information
age. How do we take all the information that is easily created and disseminated
with the use of technology and turn it into applicable knowledge that
can be used effectively in the marketplace?
- e-Lerning - One of the areas deeply effected by the pervasing
use of computer technology is the education "industry". The
internet makes it possible to prepare and deliver teaching material
in ways that were unimmaginable just a decade ago. How do we harness
these new oppurtunities to increase the quality of education and, more
importantly, make education more accessible to more people?
