I am from Holland, PA about an hour outside Philadelphia. I attended Council Rock High School South for all of my high school career where I participated in a variety of activities including upright bass in Orchestra, piano in jazz band, marching band, NHS, and Spanish NHS.I decided to attend The University of Pittsburgh because I always wanted to go to school in the city and the engineering program that came with the school is fantastic. I decided to major in engineering because I love being "hands on" and able to fix any situation. Ever since I was little I loved to build and play with legos and almost anything which I believe help me decided to be an engineer. However, as I move along on my first year at Pitt I am still not sure which discipline I would like to enter yet.
