Housing and Board

Single- and double-occupancy rooms are available in modern, air-conditioned dormitories. The cost for the dormitory in Summer 2000 was $19.59 per night. The 2001 figure has not been announced. The summer program staff can also provide information on how to secure a subletted room or apartment.

A variety of meal plans are also available to both incoming and local students. University housing and meal plans are not mandatory, though students will be required to attend regularly scheduled lunch hours in order to enhance language instruction and the administration of the program. Meal cards can also be used at over 40 on- and off-campus establishments, including most of the restaurants in university area.
