Desi Jordanoff will lead a seminar in Russian Folk Songs and Russian Traditional Dance. Songbooks with dozens of well-known Russian folk songs, songs of the Russian bards, war songs, and gypsy romances will be passed out at the first seminar. Translations for all songs will also be provided. We also have a songbook of contemporary Russian rock, mass songs and "author's" songs that we will republish if there is significant interest. You will receive a tape with many songs from the basic songbook with your orientation materials. The tape of author's songs and rock songs will be available to those who bring their own blank 9 minute tape to the langugae lab.
