Elementary Slovak 1 (0010) - 4 credits Elementary Slovak 2 (0020)  - 4 credits Intermediate Slovak 3 (0030) - 3 credits Intermediate Slovak 4 (0040) - 3 credits Advanced Slovak 1 (0400)  - 3 credits

Culture Option (17 credits)

Both the following: Elementary Slovak 1 (0010) - 4 credits Elementary Slovak 2 (0020) - 4 credits And three of the following: Intermediate Slovak 3 (Slovak 0030 ) - 3 credits A Cultural History of Slovakia (Slovak 1250) - 3 credits A Survey of Slovak Literature and Culture (Slovak 1260) - 3 credits Czech and Slovak Cinema (Slovak 1770) - 3 credits The Year Communism Crumbled (Slavic 1865) - 3 credits Slovakia Today (Slovak 1270) - 3 credits

One of the culture courses is taught each semester, but not all are offered regularly. The language courses are always offered as follows: Elementary 1, Intermediate 3, and Advanced 1, in the fall semester; Elementary 2, Intermediate 4, and Advanced 2, in the spring semester.
