Slavic-related courses on language, literature, and culture are offered to both graduate and undergraduate students year-round. Our culture courses, such as Vampire: Blood and Empire, Russian Fairy Tales (CAS), Madness and Madmen in Russian Literature, and (Saturday College), are also offered during the summer term. The Russian and East European Summer Language Institute (SLI) is one of the country's finest progams in intensive Slavic and East European acquisition. 2007 programs include Pittsburgh courses in Russian, Polish, Bulgarian, BCS, Ukrainian, Hungarian, and Slovak, and abroad programs in Moscow, Poland, Bulgaria and the former Yugoslavia.  Applications for the summer of 2007 are currently available.

Applications for the Russian Graduate Program are due on January 15, 2007 for the 2007-2008 academic year.
