My
research is focused on using
pulse electron spin resonance
technique to investigate
biological systems. I am
interested in using copper (II)
ion as the spin probe and Double
Electron-Electron Resonance
(DEER) technique to measure the
distance between two units in
proteins (EcoR1 and GlyR), in
order to determine the protein
conformation dynamics and
binding patterns. Recently I am
trying to figure out the g
tensor orientation problems in
the Cu(II)-EcoR1 system using
simulation methods.
I like
Pittsburgh because of its
natural beauty, although
sometimes it is very cold in
winter. The people here are very
friendly, and it gives me the
feeling I am in my hometown.
During my free time I like
playing basketball and watching
NBA games. Houston Rockets is
one of my favorite NBA team
because of Yao Ming.
