IMAGES!

Here's a motley lookin' bunch of guys who met to send a guy named Bob Higdon (the guy in front wearing the boonie) off on his two-year trip around the world on a 1981 BMW R80G/S. Bob is a retired attorney from Washington D.C. who oughta know better 'n to do something stupid like this, but hey, he's a grownup and can take care of himself. Right?

All of the guys you see in the picture are from various parts of the Eastern U.S. who share an interest in BMW motorcycles and who waste a hell of a lot of time talkin' about 'em on the Internet (which is where we all met)
(Photo by Jim Colburn's camera [I forget the name of the guy who _actually_ took the photo, though!])

I'll probably add a few links to other junk and add some pictures to waste your time
