Student Groups Overview
There are hundreds of Student Organizations for the PITT student body to get involved in, and if you can't find one, you can start your own.
Student groups provide an opportunity to students to pursue their interests outside of the classroom, learn more about specific cultures that surround them on campus, meet their peers who share similar interests or aspirations, or simply develop a hobby.
The greatest benefit of membership in a student group is the opportunity to participate in programming and activities that are paid for by your Student Activities Fee. Every week, SGB sponsors campus events, trips to conferences, and mnay other activities that allow student groups to make the most of the experience they are able to provide.
