Governmental Relations Committee

OVERVIEW

The Governmental Relations Committee shall build relationships between the University of Pittsburgh students and governments on the local, state, and federal levels through advocacy and education. Actions of the Committee are subject to the changing political environment, and may include:

 

►	Constructing a resource database containing local, state, and federal contact information.
►	Providing students with information on political policies directly affecting their concerns.
►	Attending lobbying events pertaining to student concerns.
►	Facilitating and promoting voter registration.
