Participate In The SGB Election

The SGB Election is an undertaking that requires the participation of the Undergraduate Student Body to be a success! Be a part of the team that will help administrate the Election and determine the new leaders of SGB.

The SGB election is open to over 18,000 students, and students are needed to participate in the committees that regulate and monitor the Undergraduate Student Government Board Election. There are a number of ways to get involved:

JOIN THE ELECTIONS COMMITTEE

The elections committee is charged with administering a fair and efficient election for the non-CGS undergraduate student body. Responsibilities include enforcement of elections regulations, qualification of candidates, preparation of the official ballot, and general awareness among the student body. During the election, members of the committee will be asked to participate in conflict resolution, prepare schedules and reports, and review elections rules upon the conclusion of the election for possible improvement.   MORE

PARTICIPATE IN CAMPAIGN PROGRAMMING

Students can participate with the elections in special events hosted as elections day approaches, including candidate forums, presidential debates, and other programs. These are all open to the entire student body, and may require volunteers to help with administering the event.
