Academic Affairs Committee

 

OVERVIEW

 

The Academic Affairs Committee shall address any and all issues that may enhance the quality of the undergraduate education at the University of Pittsburgh in the academic arena. The Committee's duties include researching academic policies and procedures of peer institutions that are beneficial to students, formulating ways to further enhance PITT's own academic policies, and the lobbying of administrators to make these changes. This may include policy relating to exams, withdrawals, grading, auditing, pass/fail credits, class registration, addition of majors, minors, and certificates, scholarship availability and awareness, study space and hours, library policies, test banks, tutoring centers, and any other concerns of the students relating to the academic policies of the University.
