Sean O'Brien
My name is Sean O’Brien. I am from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I come from a fairly large family, that always supports me in everything I do. I have two older siblings, a sister who goes to Pitt Johnstown and a brother who goes to school at Pitt Main. I also have a younger brother who is still in high school. Throughout my life, I have enjoyed many different hobbies. I have always enjoyed reading, especially science-fiction and fantasy books. I also took part in many sports. I played organized soccer from the age of five up until my senior year of high school. I played basketball throughout elementary school. I ran hurdles for the high school track team for three years and was the middle hitter on the volleyball team for two years. Overall, I am a very active person.
I went to elementary school at St. Athanasius, and High School at North Hills High School. I am currently enrolled at the University of Pittsburgh, where I plan on becoming either a chemical engineer or an engineer of physics. I have known for a long time that I wanted to be an engineer. I have always enjoyed problem solving and finding creative solutions to old problems. Recently, I have narrowed it down to Chemical or Physics engineering, as these two subjects were very enjoyable to me during high school.
