WELCOME
The Resident Student Association is established to represent resident students in University matters which concern their welfare; to promote academic, cultural, intellectual, social, and leadership development among resident students; and to stimulate an interest in and responsibility for self-governance.
The Resident Student Association (RSA) is the representation of all the students living in the ten residence halls on Pitt's campus. That makes us the second largest student organization on campus. In fact, RSA is the largest student-run organization in the world!
RSA has three tasks: advocacy, programming, and leadership. We are responsible for many of the campus-wide and residence hall events, such as the Non-Alcoholic Mix-off or Spring Spectacular. Within the buildings events have included Forbes Luau, Tower C's 80's Night, Lothrop Challenge, Haunted Holland, and Nightmare in the Quad. Advocacy is where the students take it, and this year's focus is work on Safety on Forbes Avenue and Recycling.
If you have any questions email rsa@pitt.edu or contact us via AIM at PittRSA.
