Our Environmental
Studies Program Focuses On...
- teaching students how to describe and analyze ecosystems;
- researching biological, geological and chemical environmental
processes;
- exploring the ways in which we may analyze and evaluate the
legal, political and policy systems that impact ecosystems;
- understanding the anthropological, historical and sociological
contexts within which environmental relationships have developed;
- appreciating the influence that artistic and literary representations
of the environment have on our perception and behavior;
- debating the ethical and spiritual dimensions of environmental
relationships.
