Tuna Valley Trail Association
The mission of the Tuna Valley Trail Association is to maintain trails throughout the scenic Tuna Valley, provide accessible recreational opportunities to residents and visitors, and link Tuna Valley trails with neighboring trail networks and communities.

McKean County Conservation District
The McKean County Conservation District encourages all citizens to adopt a way of life which results in conserving, protecting and practicing the wise use of our natural resources. It provides leadership, education and guidance to ensure the wise use and protection of our valuable natural resources.

The Western Pennsylvania Conservancy
The Western Pennsylvania Conservancy protects and restores exceptional places to provide our region with clean waters and healthy forests, wildlife and natural areas for the benefit of present and future generations. The Conservancy creates green spaces and gardens, contributing to the vitality of our cities and towns.

The Roger Tory Peterson Institute of Natural History
The mission of the Roger Tory Peterson Institute of Natural History is to continue the legacy of Roger Tory Peterson by promoting the teaching and study of nature, and to thereby create knowledge of and appreciation and responsibility for the natural world. It is a national, private, not-for-profit corporation based in Jamestown, New York. Trustees, staff and volunteers organize educational programs for children and adults. The programs address the compelling issue of the lack of understanding of the natural world in our daily lives.

The Pfeiffer Nature Center
"Pfeiffer Nature Center is home to more than 648 acres of nature's bounty. Located in rural, southwestern New York State, you'll find miles of hiking trails, a historic American Chestnut log cabin, great birding areas, a picturesque pavilion available for rent, and so much more!"

Friends of Allegheny Wilderness

Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources
The Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources is charged with maintaining and preserving the 116 state parks; managing the 2.1 million acres of state forest land; providing information on the state's ecological and geologic resources; and establishing community conservation partnerships with grants and technical assistance to benefit rivers, trails, greenways, local parks and recreation, regional heritage parks, open space and natural areas.

Allegany National Forest
Within the forest, three unique landscapes comprise some of the most extensive virgin forest in the eastern United States. The 4,131 acres of the Tionesta Scenic and Research Natural Area contain ancient virgin white pine, hemlock, and beech. The Hearts Content Area, a primeval tract of 300-400 year old trees, spans 122 acres.

Sierra Club
Conservation is a critical function for the Pennsylvania Chapter, as it is with all of the Sierra Club. Conservation include air quality, biodiversity state forests, and water quality.
