Our Mission... The mission of the Pitt-Bradford Environmental Studies program is to develop committed, rational and responsible citizens, professionals and researchers able to generate creative and constructive analyses of and solutions to environmental problems. In order to achieve that mission we provide students with tangible skills by: teaching critical thinking training them in field and laboratory methods, developing their technological competence maintaining rigorous standards of verbal and written communication. In short, the University of Pittsburgh-Bradford Environmental Studies program provides students with all the training they need to proceed to either the job market, or to advanced graduate or law school study. <home....................................Program Focus>
