Who Am I?
Robert Michael Wolfe

I am a fourth year Computer Science major at the University of Pittsburgh. I spend most of my waking hours at Benedum Computing Lab working as a Lab Consultant when I'm not programming, playing with wires, or making noise.

I have a resume available in HTML (needs formatted), PostScript, MS Word 97, StarWriter 5.0, PDF and plain text formats.

I have been programming since first grade when I was introduced to Apple ]['s and Applesoft BASIC. My present "natural language" is Object-Oriented C++. Aside from the useless code which I am required to generate for my classes, I occasionally have time to write my own programs and scripts.

My favorite OS is any flavor of unix, especially Linux. Anyone who believes that Bill Gates has the best OS hands-down has their head you-know-where. If you want to get the best throughput on your CPU delete WinDoze and install Linux. Aside from being one of the most stable and secure platforms available, it's FREE! I hope to write some X11 apps for Linux in the near future.

As stated previously, I am a Consultant for CIS. My work account username is 'mrbungle'. You can see if I am logged into the SPARCstation 10 at work by clicking here. The name is derived from the band (see also: my music links). I hope to have some kind of page up at http://www.pitt.edu/~mrbungle sometime. Check occasionally to see my progress or lack thereof.
