Cloze-Task Experiment

This program will allow you to run cloze-task experiments to collect word predictability norms. The program reads in a corpus files containing 1-100 sentences of 1-25 words each, and then displays the sentences in a random order, one word at a time, so that subjects can type in their predictions about each upcoming word. To download the program, do the following:

1. Click here to download the Cloze Task program (Cloze_Task.jar). (Note: This version was posted July 27, 2009.)

2. Click here to view an example sentence corpus, then save it on your computer as "Corpus.txt". (This example shows how corpus files should be set up.)

3. Click here to view the instructions for running close-task experiments. Save the instructions on your computer as "Instructions.pdf".
