About the Author |

My name is Ramesh C. Reddy. Currently, I am a staff worker with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship and also a student at the University of Pittsburgh. I started writing Christian poems when I was faced with depression in Mar ch 1993. I called them Christian Rap so more people would read them. Later on after Christ took away my depression, I felt led, to continue, to write Christian Counseling Poems. I rededicated my life to the Lord on June 06,1993. After June 1993 I started writing Christian Counseling Poems on social issues. These poems are dedicated to all who face the trials and tribulations of life. |

Introduction |

I would like to introduce you to these poems. They are composed of a variety of issues. Basically, it has taken 18 months to address different issues. I write them as the Lord leads me after praying. I try to put myself in the place of the person facing an issue to be able to write the words. I hope these poems help you out. This is also a devotional guide with Scripture references for all the poems. Also, to get you started few poems have the Bible verses listed. These are just a few verses to show you how awesome God's promises are and how much he loves us. All verses are from the NIV: New International Version, unless otherwise noted. |

Lord you know the hurts we are going through and the inner wounds and scars that other peoples actions have seemed to scar us sometimes permanently or temporary. Lord only you can hea l our inner scars and give us peace. You are the Prince of Peace. Please heal us OH LORD! Please give us the ability to forgive and forget those who have wronged us. Please fill us with your Spirit. Thank you Lord, no matter how many times we sin, you for give and forget. We depend on you Lord and humble ourselves in your presence. Lord Jesus thanks for loving me very, very,...much. I love you so much. Many, many times I keep making the same errors and mistakes making me fail and pale. Please Lord help me to work hard and give my best even in times of failure in l ife's test. Lord Jesus, you know my heart and you know what I am doing and should be doing. Help me Lord please to walk in your way filled by your Spirit. I am weak Lord and I humble myself before you. Please help me not to quit when I make mistakes and t he situation looks hopeless. Thank You Lord for reminding me that nothing is hopeless because you are my Savior who will deliver me from failure. Lord Jesus, I love you so much. Thank you Lord you love me more than words can say. Lord Jesus as you already know, I keep getting tempted by satan and many times fail to do what is right. This makes me feel so low because I have gone m y own way. Please Lord forgive me when I get tempted and do the wrong. On my own I know Lord, I will keep committing the same mistakes which you know I hate and cant help it. I humble myself before you Lord. I realize I am a sinner and accept my worthless ness before you and yield my life to you.Help me please Lord to follow your ways. You are my hiding place OH Lord. I trust you completely. Thank you Lord Jesus for your amazing love. I love you very much Lord. Oh Lord please help me. I think life is too late for me because each day I keep messing up. I feel like I am in a haunted house where bad memories are in control, an d each room has its own devilish ghosts. I keep being hurt and getting discouraged. Oh Lord, God of the armies of Heaven please deliver me. Please put me back on the right track. Thank you Lord you will deliver me whatever situation I am facing regardless . Thank you Lord, the past is not my fate. You created me for a special purpose. Thank you Lord with your Spirit in me, I can and will be able to take control of the haunted past. Lord Jesus thank you for knowing everything about me. I trust in you Lord with all my heart. I love you so much Lord. Thanks Lord for loving me beyond words. Lord Jesus thanks for loving me so much. I love you Lord. I am sorry for my sins. Please help me overcome my sins Lord. Thank you Lord Jesus. Thank you Jesus, you will hear us and answer our prayer. Lord Jesus, I pray for all those havi ng boy friend, girl friend problems. Please restore broken relationships, the way only you can. Thank you Jesus. Lord Jesus thanks you have the right person for us in your mind. Many times we want to have boy or girl friends without knowing your will. Ple ase help us Lord. Thank you Lord for forgiving me. Jesus, I know yo u love us. Lord Jesus, there are so many people being abused Lord. Many are even Christians that are being abused. OH Lord, it's hard for us to understand why that happens and easy to question you. I pray Lord that you will be our shield. Please take this case Jesus. Rescue those being abused. Thank you Lord you are our light through this world of darkness. Please Lord even though it is so hard to forgive, help us Lord. Change the hearts of the abusers Lord. Please convict them and let them know the pain that they cause in your loving and kind way. Thank you Lord you will help us find shelter. You care so much for us. I accept you Jesus into my heart. Try to attend Bible Studies where we explore God's Word. To eat God's Word is nourishment to our Spiritual Growth. |
|
Find a fellowship group where you can sing and Praise God. At fellowship, you will learn a lot about the Lord. |
|
Be a faithful witness to Jesus Christ whatever you do. So others will notice there is something different about you. |
|
I hope you all will have an enriching Christian Adventure. With the Lord on your side, even through trials and tribulations, you can overcome. I have had many trials and struggles, but the Lord is teaching me to depend more and more on Him, not my own understanding. |
