Dear
PGSIS 2001 students,
Here are the answers to the cereal game including the winners
and runner ups. A honorable mention is given to all those who turned in the
sheets before 2:00 p.m yesterday. I am very strict with deadlines he he J Just kidding! J
i wish you all will be here in the fall term when there frost. edward will
miss all the wonderful snowflakes falling to the ground. i have
never believed in being lucky because i do not believe in luck
but blessings and curses. i love going here because of the ministry i also have
here. I am involved in new hope Christian community church. arms
open
wide, i can worship here.
tara is in pitt's volleyball team. they want
me to come and cheer them on. occasionally, when i am not doing ministry
working or studying, i love to go and watch them play. barb ran to get to
the playoffs game where pitt lost to notredame. what a bummer! on the way back
a student dislocated his shoulder and an rn helped him.. The student's name was
marco. rn pops his shoulder back in. marco was so happy that she
did it for free. rn sara told him about the golden rule she
follows that she learned in the bible: do unto others as you would want them to
do unto you. she knew if she did not have any money on her she would still like
to be helped out.
marco?s sister, annabella graham seeks sara
out and invites her for breakfast. they love eating cinnamon on their
toast that is always crunchy. later,
they both have fruit jelly on their toast and head back to campus taking
the shuttle. i don't take the shuttle when i know it loops around
the campus so i just walk to church being full of cheer.
ios, my indian friend just arrived
from agra. no later did
he arrive, he experienced the freezing frost. ed did not
have to face that. my friend offered to give ios, a mini tour of
the pittsburgh community including the churches in the area. later, they went
to the supermarket to get wheats.
later, they run into ali who was having a bible study on her floor. ali felt that investigating Jesus would be a good way of getting to know him. they usually have an ice-breaker in the beginning. everyone was asked if they would be a fruit what kind of fruit will they be and why. i chose an orange mango because i like to be sweet and loving on the inside and happy happy and sunshiny on the outside by reaching out and sharing the gifts and talents the Good Lord gave with others. ali decided to be a reddish apple because it reminded her of being covered by the cleansing blood of her Savior. jack stated that he would be an ugly fruit because he felt ugly on the inside for all the wrongs he had done. ali took that opportunity to present the Gospel to jack. they ended the study eating frosted donuts.
their neighbors were making noise shredding
paper. everywhere they looked there was paper shred. edwin
decided to help clean the place up for them. how he attempted
to get it clean was amazing. since then, on paper shredding there was a ban. ana objected
to the ban. no one in their right mind
would scrape the machine with an acorn but
that's what edwin did. then he threw the debris in the nearby lakes.
if lakes polluted near campus, guess who's responsible? it could be edwin. wearing a 'keep the environment clean' cap ta inna reprimanded edwin for his actions. edwin was in a bad crunch that he needed to get out of. he had to attend three sessions on keeping the environment clean.
edwin later took a puff smoking.
he realized that was not a way to have a clean environment. he wanted to be
serious about the environment and embarked on a campaign. he told other
students, "phone your congressional representative
to pass stricter laws forbidding intentional polluting.
participation came from a student named mac.
"run churches in the area that speak about keeping God's creation
clean was his slogan." If lakes are to
be clean, it needs to start with someone. the ta was proud of edwin and mac. he xed of the
strike edwin had got as he popped a tic-tac.
In nammona came
asking if someone would come with her to the supermarket because the prices at
the convenience store were too high for a box of chex and kix cereal.
so they went to ta lanna if she could accompany them
to an out of bounce area past gate m. "use lixianna's
key said lanna. hea joins them in a hurry with his shoe laces still untied to
help them out now. hea ties his shoes laces ties his shoe
laces before they enter the supermarket.
they enter the bakery and cereal isle.
nammona, at the bakery shouts, "look at the price
kris, pies are only 99 cents today and their grapes are
cheaper than a bag of grain. they were surprised to see a
quaker shopping there because quakers were
not common in that area.
later, nammona and friends went with boats of
people to watch the concert put out by a band group of 4. Believing Always Salvation in Christ 4
of them performed Christian music with an evangelistic message before heading
out to washington dc mall.
it was calm on dc. "run churches in
grace" was one of their songs. nammona wanted to talk with the band's ra
shira later. "ra is in the back trying out a nutmeg brand
commented one of the band members, kris. pixi sticks
were left there with a religious poem in haiku. shira read the poem as she
munched on a cookie and the vcr is playing
the movie "Jesus" put out by Campus Crusade international in many
languages.
i was happy to find out back on pitt campus, another
christian fellowship InterVarsity Christian Fellowship showed the movie during
Holy Week and passed it out to people they thought would want one. you are special katrina
just as you are in the Lord's sight was the comment one of the distributors of
the movie told katrina as she stopped at the booth. later, she had a discussion
about "Who is the Real Jesus, Step Forward" after that she gave her
life to the Lord and now is able to endure much better through the trials and
tribulations of life from the strength she gets through Christ. for lunch
everyone there at a peanut butter sandwich. one of the ta's had a
message "No Jesus, No Peace, Know Jesus, Know Peace" on his cap. ta
involved herself in a religious discussion later on to help with a gig:
"Groups Investigating God"
