Why QQQ?
Once upon a time the system operators at computing and infomation systems
saw fit to unify the usernames and passwords across all platforms on which
an account was active. To do this, they felt it good and right to require
proprietors to establish network Authorization accounts to register a username
that would apply to all operating systems managed by CIS. The Network Authorization
Accounts would require a minimum of three characters in all usernames,
but that was of no consequence, because only the most lazy, slovenly of
users would even entertain the notion of but one or two character usernames.
Thus it came to pass that I was coerced by the downward march of technology
to give up the simple elegance of my much cherished username of many years,
Q, for the triply enigmatic
name that my computer accounts now bear.
