Join the Pitt Program Council for an evening with Seth Meyers from Saturday Night Live to experience his comedy act live on Sunday, February 26th!
Seth Meyers returns for his tenth season on "Saturday Night Live," his fifth season as head writer, and his fifth season as ...anchor of "Weekend Update."
Before focusing his attention solely on “Update,” Meyers was a regular player in sketches, performing numerous characters and impressions, most notably, an uncanny portrayal of Senator John Kerry for the show's satire of the 2004 Presidential election.
A graduate of Northwestern University, he studied and performed at ImprovOlympic (where many SNL cast members and writers got their start) before moving on to the Boom Chicago Theater in Amsterdam, Holland. His acclaimed show "Pick-ups and Hiccups" with partner Jill Benjamin toured Europe and eventually caught the eye of "SNL."
Most recently, Meyers hosted the 2011 ESPY Awards on ESPN.
Tickets go on sale on January 25th at the WPU Pitt Program Council Ticket office at 10am.
Tickets are free with a valid undergraduate Pitt ID. The limit is 2 tickets per
person. They will be on sale until February 24th, or until they are sold out. You must present your ticket AND ID at the door the night of in order to get into the performance. Doors open at 7:00pm. The ticket will only guarantee you a seat if you arrive before 7:45pm the night of the performance. After that, seats will be distributed on a first come, first served basis.
