Have you ever dreamt of being a participant on an exhilarating show like Americas Best Dance Crew? Well heres your chance! Join the Pitt Program Council as we host Pitt’s first ever Pitts Best Dance Crew on Thursday December 3rd!

Compete for the opportunity to win great prizes and an opening performance at one of the University of Pittsburghs spring concerts, the Hip-Hop show or Bigelow Bash. Judges will include some of Pitt’s dance instructors on campus.

Interested groups must sign up no later than Friday, November 20th at the ticket office in the William Pitt Union. SIGN-UPS ARE NOW OPEN! The first 10 teams to sign up will receive a guaranteed spot at the event – so sign up now!

In addition, students who represent dance groups on campus will have the opportunity to table for their organization after the event. It will be an excellent chance to promote what your organization has to offer to the students at this university. Students are not allowed to sign up for more than one performance.

Prior to sign-up, teams must:

Devise a team name

Form a group with no more than 12 members (at least 50% Pitt students)

Present a $30.00 refundable good faith deposit (CHECK ONLY) to the ticket office upon sign-up

Turn in music choice burnt to a CD upon sign-up. Music must be clean.

Watch as students compete to win great prizes and an opening at either the Hip-Hop show or Bigelow Bash.

Interested in joining a dance group on campus? Participate in the opportunity to talk with competing teams who represent dance groups on campus after the show!

Show up at the door the night of the event with your Pitt ID. The event is FREE for all Pitt Undergrad non-CGS Students! See you there!
