Located on the main floor of the William Pitt Union, the Conney M. Kimbo Art Gallery provides a cozy space for both student groups and professional artists alike. Throughout the fall and spring semesters the Kimbo Gallery is sponsored and scheduled by the Arts & Film Committee. If you are interested in displaying your art in the Gallery, please contact us! Keep in mind that preference will be given to student artists.
The Gallery is named after American educator, US Army veteran, and Pitt Vice President of Student Affairs, Dr. Conney Kimbo. Dr. Kimbo was a private art collector and an active patron of the arts. He received many awards for his contributions to the artistic community at the University of Pittsburgh and in the surrounding area. He served as Vice President of Student Affairs at Pitt from 1979 until his death in 1989.
