I was a member of the faculty at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown (UPJ) since 1983.  For my  first 13 years at UPJ, I taught in the Computer Science (CS) department, where I specialized in Software Engineering and especially enjoyed teaching CS courses for non-majors.  In January, 1996, I accepted an invitation to switch to the UPJ Division of Education, where I started a new department in Instructional Technology (IT). In 2006 I was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to lecture for six months in Instructional Technology at Sri Padmavathi Women's University in Tirupati, India. This has been one of the most rewarding professional and academic experiences of my life.  I retired from teaching in 2009 and now spend my professional time updating my IT resources on the web, including several books on the subject of Instructional Technology which I make available free of charge online.
