Pillar 10: Everyone involved—administrators, teachers, parents, and students—must be committed to the changes in teaching and learning that will accompany successful technology integration

Successful technology integration into teaching and learning will change everything. Teachers will be able to plan learning opportunities which will be routinely student-centered. Students will have the opportunity to learn anything, anytime, anywhere. They will need guidance in that “zone of proximal development” as they travel along constructivist, discovery learning highways. Planning for this can involve a significant adjustment in ways of doing education. Everyone must be committed to this change and embrace it wholeheartedly if success is to be assured.
