Working Group on Eary Modern Medicine and Philosophy (Spring 2011) We looked at a variety of issues from medical empiricism and experiment to teleology and traditions of natural theology, examining thinkers like William Harvey, René Descartes, Robert Boyle, John Ray and Jean Fernel.
