Q: Can my group participate in PMADD 2011? I don’t see our name on the eventbrite list.

Yes! All Pitt groups are encouraged to participate in PMADD. If your group name is not on the eventbrite, e-mail pittmadd@gmail.com and we will put it on there for you.

Q: Can I participate without a group in PMADD 2011?

Absolutely. When you register, choose the N/A/Individual option under the Residence Hall OR Organization question.

Q: Can I sign up my organization as a group, or do they have to do it individually?

Unfortunately, each participant must register individually for Pitt Make A Difference Day.

Q: Can a non-Pitt student participate in PMADD 2011?

No. Pitt Make A Difference Day is only open to Pitt students.

Q: Will food be provided?

We cannot guarantee food at the service sites. You will receive a coupon to Dunkin Donuts the week before PMADD that you can use the morning before. We will provide water bottles, but if you know you are going to be hungry, please try to eat something before arriving at PMADD.

Q: Will everyone who registers under my organization be put on the same bus?

We will do our best to make sure groups stay together, but we cannot guarantee that groups will all be put on the same bus unless we have 100% attendance from every individual registered for PMADD.

Q: How many volunteer hours can I get for participating in PMADD 2011?

We can give five hours of community service for PMADD 2011.

Q: What should I wear the day of PMADD?

You must wear closed-toe shoes that lace up. Open-toed shoes or shoes without backs are not allowed. We recommend wearing pants and a long sleeve shirt that you do not mind getting dirty. All other necessary supplies will be provided at your work site.

Q: What time should I show up at PMADD?

Plan to be outside the William Pitt Union by 9am.
