I am graduate student in the Department of Psychology and the Center for the Neural Basis of Cognition. I came to Pittsburgh from Israel after completing a BA in Psychology at the University of Haifa in 2003. As a native Hebrew speaker immersed in an English environment, I am interested in Bilingualism and Second language Acquisition. I am particularly interested in how one's native language affects the processing of a second language and the general cognitive effects of knowing different languages and different writing systems. I also have several hobbies. I love hiking, and as a descendant of the owners of one of Israel's biggest bakeries, I love baking!!!
