University of Pittsburgh SWEep Over

Coming Soon: Registration for the Pitt SWEepover 2010

The primary purpose of the SWEepover is to help admitted female high school seniors experience life, as a female engineering student, on the diverse and energetic University of Pittsburgh campus. This program will also help students learn more about the field of engineering by being paired with a female engineering host to shadow, participate in various activities and stay overnight in on-campus housing. The next day (Saturday) will be a Day for Admitted Students program which will include a continental breakfast, Swanson School of Engineering presentation, student panel, engineering lab & classroom tour, a campus walking tour and much more.

There is no cost for this program and it will include accommodations, meals, information packets, a t-shirt, and participation in all activities (travel expenses are not included). Space is limited so registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. After registration, each prospective female engineering student will receive an overnight permission form and a check-list of items to bring for the overnight stay in the dorm or suite.

Don’t miss out on this wonderful opportunity to make new friends and to become a part of the Pitt SWE community!
