Resume Help

To prepare yourself for the upcoming job and co-op fairs create for yourself a resume that employers will remember! If you're a freshman, still consider going to these fairs to gain experience and become more confident for when you are looking for a job. Below is a link for companies attending the co-op fair this fall. See the ones you're really interested in first (do some research!) then explore some others. Manage your time wisely. If you're offered an interview, always accept! It will give you good practice!

Some things to include in your resume:

• Contact Information: School and Home address
• Don't forget your NAME!!!
• GPA
• Amount of credits completed
• Relevant Coursework: list some of your courses (Honors Physics, Chemistry) and skills (Matlab - HTML)
• Work Experience: give some details about what you accomplished
• Activities: If you're a National SWE member put it on!!! (otherwise you should become a national member see our membership page for more info) any sports, and other activities
• FYI: White spaces are ugly! Fill them in with more information or reformat it!
