The University of Pittsburgh Society of Women Engineers mentoring program unites freshman and new members with a current upperclassman. Through a series of social events, the mentee will have the opportunity to bond with an upperclassman and pose any questions they have to their mentor.
Past Mentor Events include: Pittsburgh Pirates Baseball Game, Pitt Panthers Men's Basketball Games, Hoopla (Pitt Women's Basketball Games), Bowling, Body's Exhibit, Ice Skating, Cook-off's and so much more!
The mentoring program also hosts a SWEep Over. Where high school senior girls interested in attending the University of Pittsburgh majoring in engineering get to spend the night in the dorms with PittSWE members, participate in activities and learn about all what Pitt and a career in engineering has to offer them.
