MA Reserch Topic
I am currently working on my MA thesis which looks at the creation and maintenance of an image of a benign Cuban slavery. Using the writings of Cuban planters I will show how this humane image was created in response to internal and external threats to slavery. I will also be using travel accounts to illustrate how foreigners upheld the image.
