Leah Henderson
Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA
Visiting Scholar Academic Year 2011-12, Visiting Fellow Spring 2014
Reliability-based Inference from Predictive Success to Truth

Leah Henderson’s research currently focuses on the debates over scientific realism and predictivism. She is also interested in the connection between qualitative accounts of scientific inference and more formal accounts such as Bayesianism. Recently she has worked on Bayesian modeling of aspects of Kuhnian philosophy of science, and on the relationship between Inference to the Best Explanation and Bayesianism.

Leah has a PhD in philosophy from  MIT and also a DPhil in Physics from Oxford University specializing in quantum information theory.
