| visiting fellows program application
There is no deadline for submission of applications
for Visiting Fellowships. However Center Officers will begin review
on December 15 of all applications received for terms in the following
year (September to April) and will notify applicants by January
31.
The Center will continue to accept applications for
the coming year after December 15, provided that space remains.
Interested applicants are encouraged to inquire.
An application contains:
(1) A cover letter that indicates a Visiting Fellowship is sought and describes: the period of
proposed residence in the Center; the source and amount of likely
funding; and an indication of need for supplementary funds.
(2) A description of the project to be undertaken
during residence (500-1000 words).
(3) A curriculum vitae.
(4) A sample of (or internet link to) your written
work.
(5) Letters of reference from three knowledgeable
scholars. We recommend letters whose content is blinded to the applicant.
Electronic versions of the application are strongly preferred and should be sent via email to:
Karen H. Kovalchick
Applicants are reminded that the Visiting Fellows program is restricted
to those with a relevant doctoral degree. Doctoral candidates are
advised that their applications will only be considered after their
doctorates have been awarded. |
