If you have arrived at this page--welcome! You are here because you see that the Center has a special mission and are wondering if you can help. Yes you can!

Through our many activities (colloquia, lectures, workshops, conferences, international collaborations, fellows programs, publications and more), we seek to advance the best new work in philosophy of science, nationally and internationally. You can help in this effort by offering financial support.

We are grateful for support pertaining to all our activities. Our Visiting Fellows Program is the most distinctive of the Center's activities. It enables philosophers of science to visit the Center for a term or a year. Against a background of intense activity in philosophy of science, they work on their own projects and establish personal and professional relationships with philosophers of science from around the world that may last a lifetime. Our Visiting Fellows Fund has been set up to enable donors to direct support specifically to this program.

To make a donation or to discuss the possibilities, including sponsorship of particular programs, please contact the Center directly at pittcntr@pitt.edu

On behalf of the Center and the community of philosophers of science, we thank you for your interest and support.
