October 2018

What's new?

LUNCHTIME TALKS

Speakers this month will be: Janella Baxter, Chunghyoung Lee, Robert Audi, Naftali Weinberger, Deivide Garcia da Silva Oliveira, and Ronaldo Vigo. See calendar for details.

VISITING FELLOWS POLICY CHANGE

Previously, Center fellowships were limited to two semesters during the entire career of Visiting Fellows. This policy has been changed.

A Center Fellow can now visit the Center for at most two semesters every ten years.

In other words, after your first semester-long Fellowship, you can spend another semester as a Center Fellow in the ten years following. If you have spent an academic year at the Center, you have to wait ten years to revisit the Center as a Fellow. (After ten years, the clock is reset to zero.)

We hope to see many of you as returning Fellows in the future!

NORTON FOR EVERYONE

A conference centering around John D. Norton's new book manuscript, The Material Theory of Induction and Beyond, will be held on
Oct. 27-28, 2018.
