Srishti Dances of India is Pittsburgh's only professional Indian classical dance company. Guided by the vision of Artistic Director Sreyashi Dey, a well-known Odissi dancer, the company produces exciting new work every year, while preserving the rich heritage of Indian classical dance.

Srishti's presentations of classical Odissi dance in its traditional format as well in contemporary works have been highly appreciated by its large, diverse, and loyal audience as well as dance critics. The company has created opportunities for widespread exposure to Indian arts in the greater Pittsburgh area through performances, lecture-demonstrations, workshops, and collaborations with other dance companies and artists.
