PITT ARTS offers a fabulous set of programs for freshmen and their families during Family Weekend. Enjoy free tickets, free desserts and free transportation for one of the three performing arts programs. All you need to do to participate is to call PITT ARTS at 412-624-4498 and sign up.

Friday, October 19th, Pittsburgh Opera, Madama Butterfly

Be a part of this big Pitt program, PITT NIGHT. A clash of cultures that plays out on the intimate stage of the heart, Madama Butterfly’s gripping drama and eloquent score have made it the most performed opera in the world. FREE! October 21st, Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, Sibelius, Debussy & Ravel

Join PITT ARTS and enjoy Pittsburgh’s world-class symphony orchestra. Sibelius’ soulful and impassioned violin concerto played by virtuoso Nickolaj Znaider is followed by the luxurious pastel tones of Debussy’s Three Nocturnes, and Ravel’s lush suite from Daphnis et Chloe featuring the Mendelssohn Choir.
