Grading: Homework (20%), Class midterms (40%), final (40%).
Important notice: According to the department policy your final grade should not exceed your final exam grade by more than one letter grade.

Homeworks are due each Tuesday/Monday in class.
Office hours: Wednesday 3:00PM-4:00PM and Thursday 2:00PM-3:00 PM (no appointment is necessary), OR by appointment, held at Thackeray Hall 610.
Exam notes: No formula sheats or graphic calculators are allowed during midterms or the final exam. There will be no make up tests. If you miss am midterm exam for a *documented* medical reason with previous notice, your grade on it will be the prorated grade of your final exam.
Midterm exams: The dates are: Midterm I: Wednesday Feb. 10 , 2010 for section 1130;
Thursday, Feb. 11 , 2010 for section 1110; Midterm II: Wednesday March 24 , 2010 for section 1130,
Tuesday March 23 , 2010 for section 1110; during class .
Due to cancellation of classes, the SECOND midterm is postponed by one week.
Midterm II cutoff is sections 3.4, 6.1, 4.1, 4.3, 4.4, 4.5, 4.6, 4.7, 8.1, 8.2, 8.3, 9.1, 9.2
Final Exam: The time, date and place of the final
departemantal exam can obtained at
the Office of the University Registrar.
The final exam for section 1130, (MW 6:00-7:15 pm), will be held during the last day of classes Wed April 28 at 6:00-7:50 pm in Thackeray Hall 704.
