Call for Abstracts
Abstracts are being accepted for oral and poster presentations on best practices in patient safety related to inter-professional communication; technology; and the professional work environment.
We encourage novice through expert nurse clinicians, educators, advanced practice nurses and leaders to submit abstracts. All nursing specialties and agencies, including public health, hospital, ambulatory care and schools, are welcome to apply.

GUIDELINES FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSION (Both oral and poster)
- The abstract body format includes:
- Background/significance of your clinical question
- Clinical question and appraisal of evidence
- Application of evidence into practice
- Evaluation and Outcomes
- Future directions
ABSTRACT SUMBISSION INCLUDES:
- Cover sheet one per abstract
- Indication of the Presentation type (poster OR oral)
- Project title
- Presenting author’s full name
- Presenting author’s credentials
- Address / agency
- Telephone number
- Email
- List of contributing authors and their credentials
- One copy of the abstract without author/institution information
- One copy of the abstract with author/institution information
ABSTRACT FORMAT
- MS Word
- Font – Times New Roman, 12 point
- Margins – one inch
- Limit content of abstracts to 500 words
- Spacing – Single
PLEASE NOTE:
- More than one abstract per agency, category or author can be submitted.
- Only electronic submissions will be considered for review.

Incomplete abstract submissions will not be considered for review.
- Presenters will be notified of acceptance by December 17, 2007.
- One presenter per abstract will receive complementary registration.
