RESEARCH:
My specialty area is statistics, particularly modeling pooled data, cross-sectional,
as well as longitudinal data. The focus of my research is focusing on "Brain
Drain" with a focus on nurses; addressing the issue of nursing career preparation,
job satisfaction and the nurse patient outcomes.
TEACHING:
I currently teach graduate level students in Research Computing
course which focuses on computing tools and techniques currently
utilized in nursing research. In particular the course covers principles
of database management and statistical data analysis using the
available software. I also guest lecture on special topics in statistical
concepts and applications to graduate and undergraduate students. SERVICE:
I am currently the Director of Student Services foreseeing
the recruitment, registration, enrolment, advisement, and student
data for the School of Nursing . I represent the Schools of Health
Sciences in the University Council for Academic Computing. I am
a member of the Evaluation and Steering Committee, PhD Council,
and the Dean's Council within the School of Nursing. I also
play an important role in the International Group in the School
