Clinical Practice:
In addition to my academic role, I maintain an active clinical practice as a staff nurse anesthetist at Altoona Regional Health System, where I practice in a variety of settings, primarily focusing on anesthesia for orthopedic and ENT surgery in an outpatient surgical environment.

TEACHING:
I joined the Nurse Anesthesia Program faculty in December of 2006. My current academic responsibilities include clinical site coordination and scheduling for all students and clinical sites as well as instruction in the classroom, technical skills workshops, and simulation workshops throughout the curriculum.

SERVICE:
Since October 2005, I have served on the Board of Trustees of the Pennsylvania Association of Nurse Anesthetists.  In addition to my role as Trustee, I am the Chair of the Publications Committee, Co-chair of the Public Relations Committee, Editor of the PANA newsletter (Tidings), and Chair of PANA District VII.
