The focus of the Center has been on a combination of variables in chronic disorders, including adherence to treatment on both patient and provider management of treatment regimens, quality of life, functional status, cognitive function and co-morbid conditions, and the central role that adherence to management guidelines plays in clinical outcomes. The Center provides mentorship and support for new and seasoned investigators, and the dissemination of new knowledge about the care and treatment of persons experiencing chronic disorders.
