RESEARCH:
My research interests are treating tobacco abuse in the office setting, tobacco abuse in relation to mental health disorders, and utilizing electronic health records to develop best practice initiatives
TEACHING:
I teach Differential Diagnosis, Acute and Chronic Illness Management, and Physical Diagnosis to nurse practitioner students
SERVICE:
I am member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau. I also participate in a Tobacco Collaborative of Federally Qualified Health Centers and Tobacco Free Allegheny targeting pregnant women
BACKGROUND:
I am a certified family nurse practitioner working in both clinical and administrative roles. I especially enjoy starting quality ambulatory health centers
