RESEARCH:
My primary research interest is focused on in vitro
and in vivo pharmacologic studies that address whether heritable
differences in the major targets of medications used to treat
psychiatric illnesses (schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and depression)
explain inter-individual differences in therapeutic response,
including side effects.
TEACHING:
I am currently a faculty member in the Health
and Community Systems Department and teach in the undergraduate
Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing course.
