RESEARCH:
My primary research interest is focused on in vitro and in vivo pharmacologic studies that address whether heritable differences in the major targets of medications used to treat psychiatric illnesses (schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and depression) explain inter-individual differences in therapeutic response, including side effects.

TEACHING:
I am currently a faculty member in the Health and Community Systems Department and teach in the undergraduate Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing course.
