[1] General Body Meeting

There will be a General Body Meeting on Monday, October 6, 2008 in 1175 Benedum. We will be giving more information on the following events: End Zone Summit, NSBE Day, Networking Advantage, and Fall Regional Conference as well as other administrative things.

[2] NSBE Alumni Mixer - October 10, 2008

The Pittsburgh NSBE Alumni will be on campus on October 10, 2008 in the William Pitt Union in Dining Room B. This is a great time to network with Alumni who work in the industry. They are perfect for contacts and
references.

[3] End Zone Summit - October 11, 2008

The summit will serve to bring the chapters within the zone together to
network and interact with one another prior to the Fall Regional
Conference at the end of October. Every zone summit has a theme for the
activities and workshops that take place, and this year’s theme is
“Leadership….Is it in you?”

[4] Ethicon Endo-Surgery

The Society of Women Engineers is going to visit the plant of Ethicon Endo-Surgery, a Johnson and Johnson company. Ethicon Endo-Surgery makes
surgical equipment. They are particular interested in mechanical and bio engineers. You can visit their website at http://www.ethiconendo.com/. If
