Financial assistance is available in many forms. Detailed printed information reviewing the types of assistance available is mailed with application materials. The School of Nursing Student Services handles most grants and scholarships available for Nurse Anesthesia Program Students. Other Fees: All Nurse Anesthesia Program students are required to pay a one time license fee (~$100) during their first term of full time study to use the Typhon Nurse Anesthesia Tracking System NASTÔ to record case data, time logs, conferences, management plans, evaluations, and transcript/application generation for the AANA Certification Examination. This fee is non-refundable and entitles the user to full access to this system for 3 years of student use.
Students are required to take the AANA SEE exam during their second year. Cost is approximately $110.
Other costs incurred include but are not limited to TB testing, immunizations, ACLS, PALS, BLS, FBI and other clearances, earpiece, AANA student membership fee ($100), and drug testing if required by clinical site.
