Converting Excel File of Survey Data to a MINITAB File

This method will not work with Stat Lab computers, because they don't have Excel.

1. First download the file: in browser (Netscape or Internet Explorer), click the right button and select "Save Link As..."; make sure the Format is Source, not Text.
2. Start MINITAB.
3. Under File menu, Select "Open Worksheet".
4. Under "Files of type" select Excel (*.xls).
5. Select the file that you want (eg. survey); click on Open and it will show up on the screen as a MINITAB worksheet.
